Introduction

I am the single parent of my two house rabbits. I am self-employed as a writer, event planner and project manager. I work from home so my rabbits are my office companions.

List your pet rabbits names and briefly describe them.

Hopscotch is a light brown dwarf-mix who must be the sweetest bunny ever and Mackensie is a white and taupe (broken) dwarf-mix who LOVES to dig. Both are rescues -- one from All Creatures and the other from Wake SPCA.

How long have you had pet rabbits?

I got my first house rabbit in 1993. She lived 12 1/2 years as my only child. I adopted Hopscotch and Mackensie in 2006.

Have you read "About Us"?

Yes.

Do you have other pets? What kinds?

No.

Do you agree to comply with the guidelines listed in "About Us"?

Yes

    Need a bunny sitter!

"Debra, Are you asking for someone to come in and play with your rabbit at your house or to provide shelter at theirs while you are gone? In what part of town do you live? Dawn"

"Hi Tracy, Sorry about the loss of your bunny. Thanks for offering the supplies to members of the group. There are several rescues represented here, and I expect any of them would take the food and may be able to use the supplies as well...."

    Re: vacuum

"Hopscotch is molting right now and is badly in need of vacuuming. I am certain he would not only be afraid, but I can see the foot flicks I would get now. He and Mackensie both dislike the vacuum greatly."

    Re: Oxbow dust

"My rabbits don't eat the dust either. I buy 10 pound bags so there's probably not as much dust as with the 50 pound bags, but I throw it out."
